Susan Smith Nash earned her Master's and Ph.D. in English at the University of Oklahoma, where her emphasis was on discourse analysis. Her Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum geology is from the University of Oklahoma. Since graduating, Dr. Nash has studied graduate-level economics with an emphasis in developmental economics, and has earned certification in instructional design from Texas A&M and Florida State College Jacksonville.
